Climacustic. Innovation + innovation
Two major projects aimed at the provision of comfort come together in Climacustic. It is an ingenious modular system of radiant panels which also improves the acoustics of the environment: two problems faced and resolved with a single design. Climacustic is formed by the combination of the innovative Climabond® aluminium plate (the heat exchanger) and a panel with specific sound-deadening characteristics, which is made of MDF with a melamine finish.
Creating the system. The logic of simplicity
It is the only single system for heating during the winter, cooling during the summer and improving the acoustics. The installation is easy due to the simplicity of the connection between the panel manifolds. The design is simplified since the modula arrangement enables systems of any size to be installed, which may be either wall or ceiling-mounted. The output is excellent, guaranteed by the uniform heat exchange over an extensive area. Climacustic may be easily inspected and it is maintenance free. The system is supplied by an external heat pump.
Radiant heating. Creation of comfort
It is the most efficient heat transmission system. Extensively used in nature and therefore perfectly in harmony with man, and also economically sound. The masses are heated and they then return heat in a uniform manner to the environment. What is the result? Natural comfort, no draughts and therefore no dust and consequent allergies, uniform temperatures, stability of the air humidity levels, rationalisation of operation and, of course, energy saving.
32 °C instead of 70 °C
The water in the radiant circuits circulates at a temperature of 32 °C rather than the temperature of approximately 70 °C required for the operation of a traditional heating system. And yet the thermal comfort is even greater.
The versatile system. Natural cooling
Here is another enormous advantage of the Climacustic radiant panels. Heating and cooling with the same system; the same natural radiant heating system. The heat is transferred from the environment to the cold water which circulates in the radiant panels. The advantages are similar to those obtained during winter operation. The comfort is also achieved in very large environment, in a uniform and absolutely silent manner.
18 °C instead of 7 °C
The water in traditional cooling systems circulates at a temperature of no more than 7 °C, whilst the water circulating in the circuits of the Climacustic radiant panels reaches 18 °C. Just imagine the energy saving!
30% reduction in operating costs
A single system for heating and cooling, with much lower water circulating temperatures and a significant reduction in heat loss. Efficient comfort.
A single system. Savings over 365 days
The saving in operating costs is a fundamental advantage for radiant panel systems. There is an equivalent output but with an incomparable thermal wellbeing, Climacustic guarantees a 30% energy saving during the winter months, which increases to 40% during the summer. And with this single system, the yearround air conditioning requirements are guaranteed. But not only this: Climacustic improves the acoustics, so no further works in this respect are required.
Modular and customisable
The modular design of the panels guarantees enormous flexibility. There are two sizes, 60X60 and 60X120, and four standard finishes, White, Maple, Beech and Aluminium. And there is still room for creativity: the Climacustic panel may actually be customised both in terms of colour and profile (variable sound absorbance). It is suitable for radiant walls and ceilings in offices, open spaces, conference rooms, airport and port lounges, railway stations, hospitals, theatres, residential buildings etc; for all those large spaces which need to be comfortable.
